Hi friends! It’s about that time where some of us begin to throw in the towel on our new year’s resolutions and quit what we set out to do! In lieu of that, here are ten things to pray over your year.
Lord, light my path and guide my steps. “Your word is a lamp for my feet and a light on my path.” Psalm 119:105
Lord, help me to walk in alignment with You. “For we are His creation, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time so that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10
Lord, teach me Your word. Help me to meditate on it. “All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, so that the man [and woman] of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17
Lord, help me discern right from wrong. “For the word of God is living and effective and sharper than any double edged sword, penetrating as far as the separation of soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It is able to judge the ideas and thoughts of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12
Lord, help me forgive and extend grace. “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.” Ephesians 4:32
Lord, make me a light in a dark world. "You are the light of the world. A city situated on a hill cannot be hidden.” Matthew 5:14
Lord, help me boldly share of Your love. “For God has not given us a spirit of fearfulness, but one of power, love, and sound judgment. So don't be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord, or of me His prisoner. Instead, share in suffering for the gospel, relying on the power of God.” 2 Timothy 1:7-8
Lord, use me to make disciples for You. “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20
Lord, help me to love others well. “This is My command: Love one another as I have loved you.” John 15:12
Lord, help me to see myself and others as You see us. “There is no favoritism with God.” Romans 2:11
I am praying these over all of us! Have a great week, friends!
